Savings Glossary
The following is a list of savings terms I regularly use in my posts. I’m going to try to keep it as updated as possible, but let me know if I’ve talked about a savings topic and it makes absolutely no sense. I do that on accident sometimes… please don’t hate me for it…
- Penny Pinched: Penny Pinched can be used as an adjective or as a verb phrase. So, for example, you could describe someone as “penny pinched”… meaning she’s short on cash or on a tight budget. But it can also be an action after successfully saving money. As in, “I just got a great deal on the new outfit… penny pinched!” Generally, that verb version is how I prefer to read the name of this site… but the adjective version might be more appropriate.
- Deal of the Day Site (DOD Site): Deal of the Day Sites are websites that sell a different item every day and are usually really good deals. We’re talking 32″ LCDs for uner $300, people!
